Sam
Rubino, is the President of Sam Rubino Associates, Inc., and the firm's principal consultant. Sam's extensive career
experience was built at Citigroup, Inc., the diverse,
multi-national financial services corporation, where he successfully
held
positions in human resources, training and
diversity
management. Before embarking on his current consulting practice, he
served as
the head of Citi’s Employee Network Program, which included
employee-initiated
and employee-led resource groups in 20 cities with more than 14,000
employee
members. Sam managed the strategic development and implementation of
the
program from its inception and interacted with local human resources
managers,
senior business sponsors and employee network leaders to form and guide
the
operations of the diversity-focused groups. His career at Citi also
included a
senior consulting role in the corporate employee relations department,
managing the investigation and resolution of workplace complaints and
overseeing the company's internal alternate dispute resolution process.
Sam also held human
resources business management roles, and training and development
assignments. Sam received his
Bachelor of Arts degree from Queens
College of the City
University of New York, graduating Phi Beta Kappa and Magna Cum Laude. He serves as a trained volunteer community mediator at the Safe Horizon
Manhattan and Brooklyn
Mediation Centers.
